Donna M. (Novara) Pouliot

KINGSFORD — Donna M. (Novara) Pouliot, of Kingsford, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020. in Barrington, Ill., at the age of 76 after a three-year battle with colon cancer.

She was born March 18, 1944, the daughter of the late Dominic and Valda (Pizzatti) Novara.

Donna was a cashier at Shopko for over 25 years. She also worked in the accounting department at First National Bank, and as a crossing guard for Breitung Townships School District.

In her free time, Donna enjoyed cooking, shopping, doing word searches, listening to classic country and gospel music, talking on the phone, and watching her favorite television shows.

Donna is survived by her children, Michelle (Richard) Arden and Jason (Paula) Pouliot; her siblings, Barbara (Gary) Johnson, Raymond (Caryl) Novara, Mary (Jeff) Chartier and Mike (Pam) Novara; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews; and her black lab granddog, Sierra.

Donna had many special friends and close relationships beyond her immediate family. We all dearly miss our mom, sister, aunt and loyal friend.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be planned for a later date.
