Rhonda M. Pearce
KINGSFORD — Rhonda M. Pearce, 59, of Kingsford, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on June 3, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on Jan. 14, 1961, in Iron Mountain, daughter of Henery DeClark and the late Rosalie DeClark of Kingsford. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Rhonda married Mike Pearce on July 28, 2001. Over the years she worked as an EMT for Beacon Ambulance, a nurse at Grede Foundries, and also worked at the Kingsford post office.
She enjoyed spending time with family and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and crafting. She was truly a compassionate, caring woman who was loved by many.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Mike Pearce; her father, Henery DeClark Sr.; three sons; Brandon Rouse, Steven Clement, and Brent Clement; two brothers, Hank DeClark Jr. and Rodney DeClark; brother-in-law, Elliot (Sara) Pearce; step-daughter, Mikey Brennen; five grandchildren, Kyler Rouse, Sirri Rouse, Brandon Clement, Carter Clement, Nevaeh Clement; and several nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosalie DeClark.
A private gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Rhonda’s life.
