IRON MOUNTAIN — On Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, Anthony (Tony) Miller, died after a short and sudden illness at the young age of 27.

Tony was born on May 3, 1993, in Iron Mountain to Tracy and Tracy (Farley) Miller. He was a 2011 graduate of Kingsford High School.

Tony was known for his infectious smile and his positive energy. He was a kind and gentle spirit who touched the lives of all who knew him. He valued family and friends and was always willing to help anyone in times of need. He loved the outdoors and would often spend hours hiking or just sitting outside taking in the scenery. From a young age, Tony participated in community theatre. One of his favorite roles was playing the villain in a murder mystery. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Tony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Norbert and Jeanne (Fontecchio) Farley and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Rosella Miller.

He is survived by his loving parents, Tracy and Tracy (Farley) Miller; half-brother, Kyle Desmarais; step-grandmother, Nancy (Flessati-Christy) Farley; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

At this time, due to the uncertainty created by Covid-19, the family plans to hold memorial and celebration of Tony’s life at a later date.
