RICHARD ADAMS

NORWAY — Richard Adams, 73, of Norway, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Wis.

He was born in Detroit on Feb. 25, 1947, the son of the late John and Loretta (Walczak) Adams.

Rich served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Rich married Ann McConville on Sept. 21, 1996, at Hamilton Lakes. She preceded him in death on Aug. 2, 2011.

He owned and operated Adams Sheetmetal, Heating and Cooling for over 25 years. He was a member of the Hall-DeWinter American Legion Post 145. In the summer, he enjoyed boating on Lake Michigan with his family and friends, and warm winter days in Florida. He liked coaching and watching hockey. He loved watching his grandkids participate in youth sports and a good breakfast at local restaurants.

Rich is survived by his sons, Tony (Jen) Adams of Vulcan and Brian (Sara) Adams of Hamilton Lakes; daughter Kelly Adams of Marquette; grandchildren Taylor, Bryce, Lauren, Carson, Brent and Luke; brother John (Janice) Adams of Macomb; sisters-in-law Theresa (Oscar) Carpenter of Abilene, Texas, Agnes McConville of Milwaukee and Loretta Hill of Pembine, Wis.; many nieces and nephews.

Family will greet friends on Friday, Aug. 14, from noon to 1 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Norway.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, Aug.14, at 1 p.m. at the church with Fr. Michael Kowalewski.

Interment will follow at Norway Township Cemetery.
