Margret “Peggy” Clark

RACINE, Wis. — Margret “Peggy” Clark, 80, of Racine, Wis., formerly of Iron Mountain, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, in Racine.

Peggy was born April 2, 1940, in Marquette. She was the only child of the late Edward and Elizabeth Burgess Mongrain, and graduated from Iron Mountain High School, class of 1958.

Peggy was active in the high school band for two years as a majorette and taught baton for eight years. She was considered a professional ice skater and was invited to audition for the Shipted and Johnson Ice follies in Chicago. Peggy has resided in Racine, Wis. the last 58 years.

She enjoyed making crafts, working with senior citizens, and especially the time spent with family and friends.

Peggy is survived by Stephen (Janet) Edlund of Waukesha, Wis., Scott (Lisa) Edlund of Iron Mountain, Michael (Karen) Johnson of Pembine, Wis., Kevin (Tracy) Johnson of Hardwood and Kristine Johnson of Oconomowoc, Wis.

Funeral services were held in Racine, Wis. Burial and graveside services will take place on Monday, Sept. 21, 1 p.m., at Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate.
