Barbara J. Hamari

Barbara was born Sept. 2,1934, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Marion and Clara (Valerio) Moroni. She graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1952.

Barbara married Reuben Hamari on Sept. 7, 1957 at the First Presbyterian Church in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2012.

Barbara had worked in the administrative office at Kingsford Middle School, the Miller Agency, and retired from Timber Products.

She enjoyed many things in her leisure, including golf, horseback riding, skiing, playing bridge, and spending time with loved ones.

Barbara is survived by two children, Lisa (Bob) Buchner of Iron Mountain and Paul (Tisha) Hamari of Bailey, Colo.; three grandchildren, Derek (Kelly) Hansen of Iron Mountain, Kyler Hamari of Bellingham, Wash., and Eleigha Hamari of Bailey; two great-grandchildren, Conner and Riley Hansen; one brother-in-law, Don Hamari of Kingsford; two sisters-in-law, Helen Wickman of Kingsford and Garon Hamari, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Louis (Gertrude) Moroni and a sister, Josephine (Domenic) Badini.

Private family graveside services will be held at Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
