Jannette Lindeman

Jannette Elizabeth Lindeman, 100, of Channing, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at IU Hospice House in Bloomington, Ind. after a brief move to Bell Trace Assisted Living. She was born on May 17, 1921, the third daughter of Sidney and Olga (Miller) Willard.

She loved the outdoors and walked everyday until the last few weeks. She was an avid reader and an expert knitter. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, and various crafts. She retired from Butler Potato Farm where she held a variety of jobs.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Riede (Pete) of Wyoming; grandson, Todd Lindeman (Dawn) and great-grandsons, Luke and Levi of Bloomington; daughter-in-laws, Sue Lindeman and Cathy Lindeman; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Jannette was preceded in death by her husband, John; sons, James and Jack; granddaughter, Cindy; and sisters, Evelyn Evens, Blanche Berg, and Sarah Lada. She was the last of her generation on both sides of the family.
