WAUCEDAH — Ronald John Zeugner, 66, of Waucedah, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wis.

He was born in Hillsboro, Ill. and is the son of James and Eileen (Welch) Zeugner.

Ron graduated from Norway High School in 1972. After high school he moved to California and worked construction. Ron loved living in California, while he was there, he enjoyed having season tickets to the Lakers games.

Ron moved back to the area and on June 20, 1987, he married Barbara Reid in Faithorn.

He worked construction, then truck driving and finally working at the Kremlin Mine or SGI – Specialty Granules Incorporated until he retired in 2021.

Ron enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, working on his classic cars, motorcycles and spending time in the garage. He loved going for rides with Barb in the classic cars.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Laurence (Tiffany Hendricks) Zeugner of Green Bay, Wis. and Jake (Sara) Zeugner of Iron Mountain; grandchildren, Myah, Sophia and Henry Zeugner; parents, James and Eileen Zeugner of Vulcan; brother, Robert (Barb) Zeugner of Vulcan; sisters, Cheri (Rick) Fila of Norway, Pamela Zeugner of Vulcan, and Nikki Zeugner of Vulcan; sisters-in-law, Constance (Scott) Guffey of Faithorn, Kathy (Gary) Hummel of Waucedah, Susan (Bill) DeVoe of Faithorn and Annette (Pete) Fontana of Hamilton Lakes; brother-in-law, Clark (JoAnne) Reid of Faithorn; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home with Rev. Irene White, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will follow at the Norway Township Cemetery.
