IRON MOUNTAIN — Joseph David Podgornik passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, after a courageous two year battle with cancer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 23, from 9 TO 11 a.m. at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain.
A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Danielson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Quinnesec Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made, at Joe’s request, to the Dickinson County Cancer Unit Loan Closet, 201 E. Breitung Ave., Kingsford, MI 49802.
The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the arrangements.
