Suzette Smith
IRON MOUNTAIN — Suzette Ione Smith, 81, of Iron Mountain, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in the comfort of her own home.
She was born in Iron Mountain on Nov. 3, 1943, daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor Allard. Suzzy graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1962. Later that year in September, she was married to Martin J. Smith.
Suzzy will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Martin J. “Buddy” Smith; daughter Heidi; two sons, Shawn Martin and Ryan Edward; granddaughter Hadleigh Smith; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Suzzy was preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline Hedlund.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Walter Reichle will officiate.
