Janet Reynolds
IRON MOUNTAIN — Janet Reynolds, 91, of Iron Mountain, passed away peacefully on Dec. 5, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital of Green Bay, Wis., with her loving family beside her.
Janet was born on Nov. 15, 1934, in Levico, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Jon and Perina Betti.
Janet was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School, and married William Reynolds in 1957. Together, they cherished many years of marriage, and raised their family in Iron Mountain.
Janet will be dearly missed as a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. To her family, she was lovingly known as “Grandma Great.” While family life and her children’s activities were a priority, Janet also pursued and enjoyed other ventures.
Her interest and passion in collecting antiques eventually led to her vision and ownership of her shop, Reynolds Antiques. In addition, she was employed at Pine Grove Country Club for numerous years, and fulfilled many roles. Also, her interest and passion for the Menominee Range Historical Museum was evident with her countless volunteer hours throughout the years. When time allowed, Janet could be found playing cards with family and friends, and taught many members of her family how to play favorite card games. She also enjoyed an occasional visit to the casino. Janet was an avid reader, and lifelong learner, and was an excellent cook and baker.
She is survived by her children, Jackie (Bruce) Rosen, Ron (Cindy) Reynolds and daughter-in-law, Ruth Reynolds, all of Iron Mountain; her grandchildren, Sid (Lauren) Rosen of Iron Mountain, Danielle Rosen of Chicago, Rick (Lindy) Reynolds of Niagara, Wis., Jon Jr. of Iron Mountain, Kevin (Makayla) Reynolds of Iron Mountain, and Karen Reynolds of Green Bay; and several great-grandchildren. Janet is also survived by her dear, caring, longtime friend Mickey Johnson of Iron Mountain.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, William; and a son, Jon Reynolds of Iron Mountain.
Special thanks are expressed to the skilled and compassionate care of the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Vincent Hospital of Green Bay.
A Celebration of Janet’s life will be set for a later date.
