Matthew G. Lehto

Son of Glenn and Cynthia (Siik) Lehto, Matthew was born in Marquette on Jan. 26, 1979. Matthew received his GED from Kingsford High School in 1997.

He worked at Goodwill in Appleton, Wis., for several years and excelled at working the forklift and box truck throughout his employment there. Matthew had a disability that eventually prevented him from working and moved into a group home in Menominee.

Matthew was a gifted artist and sincerely loved his parents who cared deeply for him. He was proud to be a Finlander and was a big Packers fan.

Matthew leaves behind his parents, Glenn and Cynthia; brother Michael Mattord; four uncles, David (Sue) Lehto, Raymond Lehto, Dale (Pam) Anderson and Jim Perander; six cousins, Danielle, Timmy, Betsy, Tracy, Roberta and Sharon; and best friends Dan and Clifford.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Towner and Agnes Lehto, and Carl and Dorris Siik.

A visitation for Matthew will be held on Friday, Dec. 12, from 9-11 a.m. at Nash Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. A service will follow at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. D.J. Rasner.
