A great thank-you to the Sagola, North Breitung, Alpha-Mastodon and Felch fire departments for their timely response to our garage and shop fire on July 13.

Also a great thank-you to our friends and neighbors and church families for the help and food.

The Classic Farm and Machinery Club of Iron County came on July 28 with eight men and two tractors with loaders and did a major cleanup of the remains of the building.

It’s great to be a part of a very helpful and generous community.

The three restored John Deeres and new John Deere side-by-side have been put to eternal rest.

Stopping at a yard sale recently, customers were hot, tired and hungry. Hot dogs and burgers with cheese were on the grill. Water was available, also. Upon receiving our choice, we all wanted to pay but were told no charge. We couldn’t thank and bless these angels enough (there are angels among us). Just another example of the great community we live in. The best hot dogs and burgers with cheese we had in a long time.
