Troubling presidency

Wouldn’t you love to know what it cost the taxpayers in this country to enforce Trump’s zero tolerance immigration policy? Plenty, I’ll bet, not to mention the suffering of the parents and children separated at the border, which was entirely preventable.

We are now 18 months into this administration and the self-proclaimed “stable genius” has exploded the deficit, insulted our allies, made racism acceptable, enacted tax reform that rewards corporate greed and is subservient to Russia, which makes me believe is an attempt to cover up some misconduct known by Putin.

All this pales in comparison to the complete incompetence on full display regarding the half-hearted methods being employed to reunite parents with children who were forcibly removed while they were seeking asylum in the United States.

This is not the America I have known for 75 years. Can anyone think this is acceptable, really?
