The final countdown to new Arrested Development

May 23, 2013 - Nikki Younk
What will you be doing at 2:01 a.m. on Sunday?

If you know what’s good for you, you’ll be watching the long-awaited fourth season of Arrested Development on Netflix.

The cult comedy show originally ran for three seasons on Fox. Despite protests from loyal fans, the show was cancelled after its shortened third season in 2006. There was talk of reviving the show on another network, or even turning it into a movie. Alas, these scenarios did not come to pass.

Now, more than seven years later, we’re finally getting our fix. On Sunday morning Netflix will release all 15 episodes of season four at once.

I’m calling it right now. Netflix will crash.

Anyone not familiar with the series should spend these next few days catching up with the first three seasons. It’s only 53 half-hour episodes!

You’ll be treated to excellent cast chemistry, unique humor, in-jokes, and a parade of guest stars that includes Henry Winkler, Scott Baio, Liza Minnelli, Charlize Theron, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, and Ed Begley Jr.

What’s not to love?
