Big loss for the Bears

October 21, 2013 - Terri Castelaz
Bad news for Bear fans. Quarterback Jay Cutler will be out for at least four weeks and linebacker Lance Briggs for at least six because of the injuries they suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Redskins.

An MRI exam revealed Cutler has a torn groin muscle and Briggs has a small fracture in his shoulder.

Well it figures, next game on the schedule is the Packers in Green Bay. Even with their recent losses I had hopes for this year. I’m just hoping it is only for the four to six and they will be back to finish the season. There is still a lot of football to be played. I have a bad feeling it is going to be a long few weeks.

I really need to stop taking football so serious. I know I’m not playing or coaching, and don’t receive any check from the Chicago Bears. I just love the game and am very passionate about the Bears.

I need to start watching more NBA. The Bulls don’t get me so worked up.
