MARINETTE, Wis. - Criminal charges have been filed against the Wausaukee, Wis. man who was involved in a fatal drunk driving accident on Friday in Middle Inlet, Wis.
Timothy C. Christ, 28, faces one felony count of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, one felony count of homicide by use of a vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration, three felony counts of operating while intoxicated causing injury, and three felony counts of causing injury with a prohibited alcohol concentration.
If convicted on all counts, he could face a maximum penalty of 116 years in prison.
A court date in the matter has not yet been scheduled.
The charges against Christ stem from an Oct. 5 incident in Middle Inlet.
According to Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve, a GMC pickup truck operated by Christ pulled onto U.S. 141 and was traveling north when it struck a south bound Chevrolet Impala.
One of the passengers in the Impala, 13-year-old Christopher Croley of Ishpeming, was killed.
The other three occupants of the Impala included Croley's mother, 44-year-old Jodi Betts Croley, and his sisters, 17-year-old Taylor Croley and 16-year-old Gabrielle Croley.
They were all transported to a Green Bay, Wis. hospital with serious injuries.
Christ, the only occupant of the pickup truck, was uninjured.
