Let’s strive to not pollute

October 12, 2012

EDITOR:

Our great city of Kingsford smells like weed killers and deer-repellent sprays which are toxic chemicals. Also toxic are fertilizers and dryer sheets which you now can purchase scent free. The manufacturer takes your money and leaves you with the side effects.

The elderly, babies, and small children are admitted to the hospital and live with high medical bills. Are your leaves, flowers, gardens, and shrubs more important than the well being of your fellow citizens?

Would these chemicals have had anything to do with our water problem a while back?

We can not sit outside, line dry our laundry and the smoke season is up on us.

We have to keep our doors and windows closed. Where is our clean air? I'm applauded our tax dollars are being used to purchase these chemicals.

Let's strive to not pollute and get our clean air back again. We can do it.
