Iron River realtor inducted into UPAR

Two realtors were recently inducted into the Upper Peninsula Association of Realtors during the general membership meeting held at Northern Michigan University in Marquette.

Melody Belmore of Iron River and Stephanie Marder of Marquette were the inductees.

Belmore is an agent with Century 21 Goldwood Inc., located at 217 W. Genesee St. in Iron River. She serves the areas of Iron River, Crystal Falls and Gaastra.

Marder is a real estate agent at RE/MAX 1st Realty of Marquette.


Melinda Frey of Iron Mountain has become an independent consultant with Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct sales company featuring more than 60 delicious, easy-to-prepare foods.

Elizabeth Koll, president of Maplewood Villa LLC has announced that the new assisted living facility in Armstrong Creek, Wis. is now accepting residence applications with a planned opening of the facility on Jan. 15, 2013.

The facility, Maplewood Villa, is located on Highway 101 between Armstrong Creek and Florence, Wis. and will be managed by Joel Koll, managing partner and Karen Hoffman, RN will be the administrator.

The facility, which will also provide respite care, Alzheimer's care and hospice services, has a

mission of providing the feeling of home. Maplewood Villa is a secured premise for the safety and

comfort of our residents. Three nutritious meals per day will be offered in the dining area produced by a trained nutritionist.
