Sgt. Detective Caleb Fry of the Williams County Sheriff's Office said that 31-year-old Ryan Anderson of Iron River is accused of stabbing 32-year-old Christopher King of Iron River.

The incident occurred at about 4 a.m. Sunday at the Capital Lodge mancamp located east of Ray, N.D.

According to Sgt. Fry, Anderson allegedly used a standard folding knife to stab King twice in the chest and twice in the stomach region. Alcohol was a factor in the incident, Sgt. Fry added.

Sgt. Fry said that Anderson drove King to the Tioga Medical Center, where King was pronounced dead and Anderson was apprehended.

Anderson is being held on a felony charge of murder. Bond will be set later this week.

Sgt. Fry said that investigation into the incident is ongoing, with other charges pending.

Anderson also has an open arrest warrant out of Iron County for failure to appear on an aggravated assault case.
