ONTONAGON - A 17-year-old Rockland teen faces criminal charges in connection with a traffic crash that occurred in February, according to state police from the Wakefield post.

Zachary Seid has been charged by the Ontonagon County prosecutor with one count of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison.

Seid was the driver of pickup truck that caused a three-vehicle personal injury crash at about 2 p.m. Feb. 3 on U.S. 45 near Woodspur Road in Ontonagon Township, troopers said. Seid, who was injured in the crash, is now lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail.

His juvenile female passenger was charged with use of marijuana.
