SAULT STE. MARIE - A woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash in the eastern Upper Peninsula Tuesday night, Michigan State Police at the Sault Ste. Marie Post reported.
Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of the driver, a 44-year-old woman, police said.
The crash occurred on M-28 near Dick Road in Chippewa County's Chippewa Township late Tuesday night.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Hulbert Fire Department, Hulbert EMS and the Chippewa County Sheriff Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
