ROCHESTER HILLS - Norway whitewashed the host team Friday in the Little League baseball junior (age 13-14) state tournament.
Norway, allowing just one run over 14 innings, defeated Rochester Hills 6-0. Taylor Northwest fell to Norway 2-1 on Thursday.
Dane VandenHeuvel reached the 95-pitch limit over six innings, allowing two hits with five strikeouts and two walks. Hunter Kaldor permitted one hit in the seventh.

VandenHeuvel and reserve Connor Ortman each knocked in three runs.
VandenHeuvel knocked in two third-inning runs with a single. The inning started with a Bob Kleiman single, Joe Murvich bunt and Kaldor safe on an error.
In a four-run fourth inning, Norway put together singles by Josh Hayes, Murvich and VandenHeuvel for a run. Ortman then tagged a two-out, bases-loaded triple to the gap.
Norway collected seven hits in the game.
Norway, 2-0, assured of reaching the semifinals, completes pool play this morning with White Lake. State semifinal and finals play will be held Sunday.
Little League baseball minor (age 9-10) state tournament at Muskegon was postponed for a day by rain. Norway will begin today.
In the Little League baseball senior (age 15-16) state tournament at Harper Woods, Kingsford dropped a 16-2 decision to Taylor South.
Taylor South scored seven runs in the top of the fifth inning to end the game.
Kingsford (1-1) continues pool play this morning with Ash Carlton.
