Hoops Analyst basketball writer Ed Weiland, also known as Nikki Younk's uncle, predicts a last-place finish for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Weiland, a Norway High School graduate, forecasts a 30-52 record for the Bucks. He figures Detroit for third place (46-36) in the NBA's Central Division.

"I wonder if Bucks' GM John Hammond is doing a stealth tank job," Weiland wrote. "The Bucks got rid of their entire perimeter from last year and replaced them with an inferior group. They get credit for trying to stay competitive, but the fact is they're headed for the lottery because of Hammond's moves, starting with the JJ Redick trade last year."

As for Michigan State, he believes the key will be replacing center Derrick Nix.

"Everyone else returns, so they should have another good year," Weiland said. "Big Ten tough, though." ...
