He owned and operated a deli on Wall Street in New York City for many years.

After the death of his wife Eleanor, he relocated to this area. He was a volunteer at the V.A. Medical Center for many years.

He loved music, cooking, dancing, woodworking, painting and entertaining. He met his soul-mate, Albertine Temple at a dance and the two were inseparable for the next 23 years. Together, they formed a music group, Al-Vito, with Vito on guitar and keyboards, and Albertine on drums. His great joy was playing at the area nursing homes and the V.A. Hospital.

Vito continued to entertain at Maryhill until this past October, and then in November, Maryhill became his home.

He will be sadly missed by Sue and Joe Giesen, Peg and Don Gattra, Tom and Dorothy Temple, Dick and Bernadette Temple, Marilyn Temple and their children, and by the many friends he made over the years.

Vito was preceded in death by his beloved Albertine and their faithful dog, Charlie.
