IRON MOUNTAIN — Trey Bociek’s power play goal in overtime lifted Kingsford past Escanaba 3-2 in high school hockey Tuesday at Mountain View Ice Arena.

The Flivvers (16-6-1) trailed 1-0 heading into the third period. Grant Wickham scored a pair of power play goals for the Eskymos (5-15).

The Flivvers, who defeated the Eskymos 9-1 earlier this month, tied the score in the third period on a Nick Murvich goal.

Wickham’s goal at the 12:58 mark knotted the game at 2-2. Escanaba had two more power play opportunities in the final minutes but failed to score.

Sawyer Perpich and Eamonn Weed assisted on Bociek’s game-winning goal.

Flivver goalie Evan Hedtke faced 19 shots while the Eskymos’ Brodie Goddard saw 35.
