Flivvs’ Terrian, Beauchamp receive All-Great Northern

ESCANABA — Kingsford junior Luke Terrian has earned a first-team berth on the All-Great Northern Conference boys basketball lineup.

GNC coaches meeting Friday named Gladstone’s Brad Spindler as player of the year. Escanaba’s Ryan Robinette was the defensive player of the year. Gladstone’s Dane Quigley and Marquette’s Brad Nelson shared coach of the year.

Reece Castor of Gladstone; Robinette; and Marius Grazulis and Trey McFerrin of Marquette filled out the first team with Terrian.

Kingsford junior Tyler Beauchamp topped the second team, followed by Rudy Peterson of Gladstone; Jared Nash of Escanaba; and Raffy Millado and Luke Ogea of Marquette.

Kingsford senior Chase Kreski received special mention with Jared Ness of Gladstone; Austin Willette of Escanaba; Kyle Anderson of Menominee, and Ethan Martysz of Marquette.

Honorable mention went to Bryce Brazeau of Marquette; Kegan Monroe of Menominee; and Craig Kamin and Carter Hudson of Escanaba.

Gladstone and Marquette shared the GNC varsity title with 6-2 records. Escanaba won the junior varsity, 7-1, and freshman, 8-0, titles.
