GREEN BAY – Green Bay Notre Dame hockey star Brendan Poshak has made a verbal commitment to attend Northern Michigan University.

The 5-foot-8, 145-pound sophomore forward helped the Tritons reach the WIAA state tournament last season.

“That is one of my dream schools,” Poshak told the Green Bay Press-Gazette. “I’m a Yooper. I was born up in Marquette. Their culture, Coach Grant (Potulny), he’s a really good coach. He likes to develop players. I love that.”
