IRON RIVER — West Iron County begins the cross country season Wednesday at North Central.

“We have five returning runners, five new runners and five that are in dual fall sports,” said WIC coach Kristi Berutti. “We are looking forward to the first meet.”

Seniors’ Piper Passamani, Rudi Passamani and Katarina Serbentas along with junior Kali Dennis and sophomore Avery Bociek lettered last season.

Serbentas, Dennis, sophomore Jordan Shamion, and freshmen Madison Berutti and Aurora Dahl will also be in tennis.
