Channing’s Mulder wins Lucas Oil pro stock UTV title
CRANDON, Wis. — Channing’s Ryan Mulder dethroned the champion to win this year’s Lucas Oil pro stock UTV championship.
Mulder, who collected two firsts and two thirds in the hunt for the championship, secured the season title by placing 10th in the final round at Crandon.
Mulder secured the championship over defending champion CJ Greaves, who finished second.
The Lucas Series features four weekends of racing at Crandon in June and September; Elk River, Minn.; and Bark River. Mulder took the lead in points after winning in Minnesota.
In past years, Mulder has captured two world championships in super buggy division.
Along with the championship, Mulder was awarded a $15,000 bonus check from Yamaha Racing.
Mulder expressed appreciation to SnowDogg Snowplows, Meyer Yamaha and his friends and family who supported the team this past season.
