Flivver frosh blanks Bay Port

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Kingsford forced three turnovers and the Flivver freshmen downed Bay Port 22-0.

“The defense came up big holding Bay Port on downs in the red zone a few times,” said Coach Jim Myllyla, noting Ben Picket played very well on a “very wet soggy field.”

Danny Weber ran the ball extremely hard and rushed for over 100 yards, according to Myllyla. Nathan Bousley had a 60-yard touchdown run.

“The offensive line did a great job blocking,” Myllyla said.

The Flivvers visit Gladstone on Thursday.
