ESCANABA — Goals from Adrian Vicenzi and Jurgen Kleiman sent Iron Mountain past Escanaba Bayside 2-0 in boys soccer Thursday.

“We dominated possession and held Escanaba to only two shots,” said IM Coach Dave Brule.

Gabe Celello assisted on the Vicenzi goal in a cross from the right corner that Vicenzi headed in. David Brule III played a through ball to Kleiman in the second half that broke him free behind the defense.

“We had several more opportunities that were either saved or just off target,” Brule said.

The Mountaineers (6-5) played without starters Owen Caudell and Dylan Wolsker, both done for the season with broken wrists.

Iron Mountain faces Three Lakes, Wis., at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
