Norway Speedway: Kralovetz eyes another track title

Norway Speedway

NORWAY — Dillion Kralovetz of Bonduel, Wis., seeks a record fourth straight late model track championship this weekend at Norway Speedway.

The Bonduel driver wraps up the season Sunday. Racing was also held Friday. Kralovetz along with the late Bob Iverson of Escanaba (1980-1982) and Antigo’s Troy Nelson (2008-2010) are the only drivers to win three straight track championships.

“Truth is, I really love that track and the people up there I get along with almost all of them,” Kralovetz told Joe Verdegan for a Green Bay Press-Gazette story. “The track is real smooth. You can actually go down the straightaway full throttle up there.”

A full racing program will take place Sunday, with a $1,000 top prize being awarded to the late model feature winner. Sport trucks will also be on hand.

Four drivers will be crowned “Fair Champions” with combined points being tallied up between the two nights of racing on Friday and Sunday. Start time Sunday is 4 p.m.
