NORWAY — Barb and John Zeni carded a seven-under par 65 in the second round Sunday to win the UP Husband & Wife Championships at Oak Crest Golf Course.

Playing out of Escanaba Country Club and now residing in Illinois, the Zenis shot a 68 Saturday for a two-day total of 133. Runner-up Michelle and Mike Mansfield posted a 136 (68-68).

Defending champions Kristie and Jim Markell of Iron Mountain finished third at 137, shooting an opening-round low of 66.

Teams played a scramble format both days, with the wives’ tee shots played on at least six of the holes.
