NIAGARA, Wis. — The Lady Badgers of Niagara hosted two Marinette-Oconto Conference foes Thursday evening, coming away with a sweep of the triangular meet in two four-set matches.

Against St, Thomas Aquinas, Niagara won 25-23, 20-25, 25-12, 25-20.

“Our match with STAA was very similar to the one against Suring. In the third set, the girls displayed dominance,” said Badgers head coach Carol St. Arnauld.

In the Suring match, St. Arnauld said her team came out strong, though faltering a little in transition off the net. The set scores were 25-18, 25-12, 23-25, 25-12.

Now 5-0 in conference play, St. Arnauld expressed desire for her team to maintain that position moving forward. “We need to grow in our confidence and communication,” she said.

The Badgers’ next M & O Conference game is Tuesday when they host Gillett. They travel to Crivitz on Thursday.
