Lady Patriots post 3-2 volleyball win

PEMBINE, Wis. — The cooperative Goodman-Pembine girls volleyball team hosted Coleman in non-conference action Tuesday, coming away with a 3-2 victory. The highly competitive match saw scores of 14-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 15-11.

Katelyn Nelson recorded four aces, one dig, a team-high 11 kills and two blocks in the victory. Kalli Erickson added three aces, two kills, two assists and one block.

Kim Mazur had three aces, eight kills and two blocks, while Sophie Wysocki scored a team-high 22 assists with one kill. Sierra Dettman (one ace, one block, three kills), and Mason McClain (two aces and two kills) also contributed to the win.

The Lady Patriots host Three Lakes at Goodman tonight at 7 p.m.

On Saturday at Pembine, NEWCHAA (Northeast Wisconsin Christian Homeschoolers Athletic Associaton), and Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy come to town for a three-team dual. Matches begin at 9 a.m.
