Prep football: KHS frosh win
ESCANABA – Kingsford freshmen beat Escanaba on the road on Thursday 28-7.
Cole Myllyla rushed for 98 yards with a 25- yard TD run. Trent Maki ran for 53 and Nic Nora had 46. Jack Bartolac ran for two TDs. The offense rushed for 252 yards and Nora passed for 65 yards.
Charlie Chritesen had an interception return of 65 yards. The entire defense played well with Bryce Wenzel making some big hits. Next game is at Gladstone on Thursday at 5 p.m. Central time.
