Maloney to play final MTU game
HOUGHTON — Former West Iron County star Max Maloney closes out his Michigan Tech football career Saturday.
MTU (4-5, 2-5 GLIAC) hosts Northwood (1-9, 1-6) at noon at Kearly Stadium.
The Huskies are nearing a single-season team record for sacks going into the final game. The record is 30, compiled during the 2007 campaign, and Tech currently owns 28.
Michigan Tech is second in the GLIAC and is 16th in NCAA Division II in sacks.
