IRON MOUNTAIN — Scoring early and often, Iron Mountain defeated Mancelona 40-8 on Saturday in an MHSAA Division 7 Pre-District game at Mountaineer Stadium.

Up next for the Mountaineers (10-0) is a Division 7 District final game, on Saturday Nov. 9, versus the 7-3 Charlevoix Red Rayders of Northern Michigan Football League Conference-Leaders division. Charlevoix defeated Mancelona (5-5) in Week 7 of the regular season 22-20. Kickoff on Saturday will be at noon from Mountaineer Stadium.
