Niagara girls come up short at Crivitz, 59-44

CRIVITZ — Despite Alyssa Cretton with 18 points, and freshman Josie Rock netting 11 points, the Lady Badgers were defeated here Thursday night 59-44 by Crivitz.

Niagara trailed by only three points at the half but were unable to hold off the Wolverines in the second half.

Crivitz was led in scoring by Chloe Gruszynski, whose 19 points led all scorers in the Marinette-Oconto Conference matchup.

The Badgers, who fall to 9-6 on the season, return home to face M&O Conference foe Gillett on Tuesday night.
