Lady Badgers beat Wausaukee, 47-32

NIAGARA, Wis — A strong second half, led by the free throw shooting of senior Cassie Gill, powered Niagara past Marinette-Oconto Conference foe Wausaukee 47-32 here Thursday night.

The Lady Badgers were led in scoring by junior Alyssa Cretton with a game-high 16 points, while Gill chipped in 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to register a double-double.

Niagara out-rebounded the Rangers 37-27 in the basketball game, with Jessica Oratch snaring a game-high 13. Jasmine Racine chipped in eight points and nabbed seven rebounds.

Wausaukee was led in scoring by Madelyn Schiles with 12 points.

The Badgers (12-8) travel to Marinette to face M&O conference foe St. Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday.

On Friday, Niagara hosts Suring in their final regular season game

Niagara also won the JV game, defeating the Rangers 18-17.
