QUINNESEC — Michigan Little League District 10 will be represented by Kingsford in the Minors (ages 8-10) state baseball tournament that starts next weekend in Tecumseh.

Kingsford went undefeated in the District 10 tourney at Quinnesec, downing Norway 10-4 on Friday for the title. They got there by defeating Iron County 22-0, Gladstone 6-5, and Iron Mountain 8-0.

Norway opened with a 14-6 loss to Iron Mountain, but rebounded with wins over Gladstone 6-2, Escanaba 10-5 and Iron Mountain 9-5.
