KINGSFORD — A hunter safety class will be held July 30 through Aug. 2 from 8 a.m. to noon in the Kingsford Middle School cafeteria, with a field day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 at the United Sportsmen facilities in Merriman.

Students must attend all classroom instruction and attend the field day in order to receive a hunter safety certificate, no exceptions.

To be eligible, students must be at least 10 years old. The program is offered free of charge. Students must provide their own transportation to all classes.
