IRON MOUNTAIN –Ice shacks left on city property must be removed as soon as possible or they will be removed at the owner’s expense, said Iron Mountain Director of Police and Fire Services Ed Mattson.

In a release, Mattson advised anglers who still have ice shacks and converted camper trailers at the boat landing off Grand Boulevard Circle move the structures as soon as possible.

By ordinance, ice shacks must be removed within 24 hours of placement.
