Vehicles collide at junction

IRON MOUNTAIN — A 19-year-old Kingsford woman had minor injuries after a three-vehicle collision Saturday at the U.S. 2/U.S. 141 junction in Breitung Township.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the collision about 4:15 p.m., after a 67-year-old Niagara man turning east failed to yield to the woman’s vehicle.

The woman’s car spun on impact, striking a three-wheel motorcycle being driven by a 54-year-old Niagara man, according to the DCSO.

The woman was not transported to the hospital for her injuries. Both Niagara men were uninjured.

The 67-year-old man was cited for failure to yield.

The DCSO was assisted by the Iron Mountain Police Department.
