Reservations being taken for free Christmas meals

IRON MOUNTAIN — Two churches in the region are finalizing preparations for free dinners on Christmas day.

First Presbyterian Church of Kingsford will take reservations through Saturday for its annual Christmas Day ham dinner, set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the church at 395 Hamilton Ave. in Kingsford.

Meal delivery is available for those who are homebound, and rides will be provided to anyone who wants to share in the meal but lacks transportation.

There is no cost for the meal, but reservations are required and can be made by calling the church office at 906-774-4211.
