ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — Gregory D. Fox, 52, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack in Ormond Beach on Friday, April 21, 2017.

Greg was born in Iron Mountain on Dec. 21, 1964, the son of Carl and Dolores (Branz) Fox. Greg lived in Iron Mountain until his graduation from Iron Mountain High School in 1982.

Following his graduation from high school, Greg enlisted in the United States Army, serving honorably until 1991 when he relocated to Florida.

In 1995, Greg married Isabel Cristina Restrepo Londono. Greg continued to reside in Florida for the remainder of his life working in food service management and sales/management positions.

Greg’s passions in life were his family, friends, barbecuing, gourmet cooking, Green Bay Packer football, and boating.

Greg is survived by his wife Isabel Cristina Fox of Ormond Beach; a son, Michael Fox of Kingsford; a granddaughter, Mya Fox of Kingsford; his mother, Dorlores Fox of Ormond Beach; a stepson, Andres Urrutia of Armenia, Columbia; a sister, Sharon (Chuck) Fox-Griggs of Ormond Beach; a brother, Tim Fox of Ormond Beach; one uncle and aunt; and his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all who loved Greg deeply.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Carl Fox and grandparents, Mario and Anna Maria Branz and Thomas and Cora Fox.

Per Greg’s wishes, he will be cremated.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday April 28, at the Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church, 105 Amsden Road, Ormond Beach Fla. by Pastor Mike Foley.
