MARY AND GEORGE STOLZE JR.

KINGSFORD — George Jr. and Mary Stolze of Kingsford recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.

They were married Sept. 12, 1969, at St. Michaels Episcopal Church in Denver.

They met at Fort Ord in California and were married just before being sent to Vietnam.

Both are retired — Mary from teaching nursing at Bay College and George from being a forester for Louisiana-Pacific in Sagola.

Their children and grandchildren are: Gunther (Rosy) Stolze of Kingsford with son Jonathan Armanet; Jessica (Stephen) Stolze-Rybczynski of Jenison, Mich. with sons Thaddeus and Kazimir.

Their children hosted a celebration at Pine Grove Country Club.
