Iron County Medical Care Facility names Hearts and Hands honorees

CRYSTAL FALLS — Skilled maintenance person Tom Princing and registered nurse Heidi Campbell have been selected as the Iron County Medical Care Facility of Crystal Falls’ 29th Hearts and Hands award honorees.

The annual Hearts and Hands awards are given to an two individuals, from the services staff and the nursing staff, who go above and beyond what is required in their daily duties.

All employees are invited to submit nominations each year for the most commendable staff award.

Once the nominations are gathered, a special committee selects the two employees deemed the most deserving.

Chester Pintarelli, administrator, congratulated and thanked this year’s recipients for their devoted service, dedication to the well-being of the residents and tenants, positive attitudes and willingness to do more on their jobs.

For their continued loyalty and hard work, Princing and Campbell received a plaque and a weekend stay at the Country Inn and Suites in Green Bay, Wis.

Along with the special award honorees, the facility also recognized other employees for their continued years of service.
