Mr. and Mrs. Jeff and Jane Bal of Crystal Falls announce the engagement of their daughter Andrea to Alex Bomstad, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max and Christine Bomstad of Menominee. Andrea is a 2010 Forest Park High School graduate and attended Michigan Technological University, graduating with a chemical engineering degree in 2014. She currently works for BASF in Cleveland, Ohio. Alex graduated from Menominee High School in 2009, and also attended Michigan Technological University, graduating in 2014 with a civil engineering degree. He also works at BASF. A wedding date is set for September 2018 in the Upper Peninsula.
